A big thank you to the dozen or so people who turned out on a blustery Saturday afternoon for the spring litter pick.
From the Mill to Combe Wood right through the village to Denton and Chippenhurst, they picked up bags and bags of rubbish, which have now been collected by the District Council. The rubbish ranged from broken plastic toys on the Green to old bikes and grass cuttings on the foot-path between Parkside and Bishops Wood as well as snack food and drink bottles on road verges.
