Happy New Year! With no separate January edition of the Newsletter, I think this is still appropriate, but if you insist, then Happy Valentine’s Day.

 The Parish Council and its Orchard Committee have been working away to secure a lease on the patch of grass immediately below the recreation ground to establish a Community Orchard.

By the time you read this, we hope that the Parish Council will have signed a 50 year lease for the land below the recreation ground to establish a community orchard for the village. A huge step forward.

It’s nearly Christmas and I have so many people to thank for helping us get to the ‘season of good will’ largely unscathed.
